Wildcard
If not sure on exact spelling, put in the known first part of the word and follow up with the asterisk (*). This will work in all fields. Example - Ludlum could be put in as ludl*

General
Author - put in any combination of the authors name ( John Grisham, Grisham, John, Grisham)
Title - put in the title of the book or part of the title
Keyword(s) - put in other words to narrow the search for your title Example "The House In The Woods" could be stated in the 'Keyword(s)' space as simply typing in 'House woods' (no quotes). Or you could place VG to only search for very good copies.
Price Range - This will narrow the cost of the titles you are searching.

Exclusion
Put a (-) in front of the word and it will be excluded. Example - If you wish to exclude all hardcover books simply add '-hardcover' (no quotes)

If you are looking for Grishams Chamber in paperback, this is what you could place in the 'Keyword(s)' field - [grish* chamb* -hardcover]
